TikTok's taking on Google

It’s not new but as 40% of Gen Z use TikTok as a search platform, TikTok are focussing on it.

Here is a video of it in action (‘sponsored’ products are displayed like Google Ads)

In a few months everyone will be running these types of ads…. learn now.… get ahead of the masses.

TikTok is rolling out more features around ‘search’ and beta access has been granted to a few advertisers.

You can now become the ‘King of Search’ by running Google Ads and TikTok Search Ads

Take a look at this….. we had a few influencers post some content and then boosted it with ads.

You can see the sales on Amazon increase:

Did we increase these Amazon sales with TikTok Ads?

In my opinion... YES 👊

But here's the truth:

You cannot establish an ROI running TikTok Ads to Amazon.

We have pushed over 200 ad campaigns and consistently see the same results:

  • Increased sales

  • Increase in Branded Search (when the brand is seen on TikTok, users search for it on Amazon)

  • Increase in the listing's traffic (sessions, page views, conversion rate, etc.)

However...

Amazon Attribution does not report any sales, which is odd since this listing has a 15% conversion rate. After receiving 10,000 clicks, you would expect some Attribution sales, even using deep links.

As Attribution does not report any sales….. brands lack confidence in the campaigns. Long-term campaigns (2-3 months) are needed, and due to the cost, most Amazon brands struggle to justify the strategy, especially when the results are uncertain.

BUT THEY WORK 🚀 

Most Amazon brands do not have the time and budget to focus on these strategies. Very few brands are running them... it's a 'blue ocean' if you know what you're doing.

There are a ton of strategies….. but using affiliates and ads are kinda like running Sponsored Ads on Amazon. You may have a great Amazon listing, but without Sponsored Ads, your business is dead in the water.

I recommend ever brand to first create an affiliate and ad strategy, then do the rest (listing optimisation, creating content, etc).

If you have a legion of affiliates then TikTok Shop is your playground.

That’s why we contact over 1,000 affiliates per day (not using a bot or the TikTok Affiliate database….. we have been building this list for months).

Personally, I think its a great move as these creators will realise they need to ‘up their game’….. creators are notoriously difficult to work with, this will change that.

You will need to access TikTok Symphony….. it’s not public yet and you have to jump on the waiting list.

Imagine a world where YOU create the content and don’t need affiliates or influencers…..

One of our most successful ads on TikTok Shop is an AI created video….. over $10,000 is sales….. took one hour to setup.
