TikTok released their Ads Library

TikTok just released their ads library (no data for the US yet).
Very similar to the Facebook Ads Library….. but for TikTok.
Let’s play around……
Let’s look at ads focussed around a “baby blanket”.
It produced the following results.
Important to note:
Audience size
Every video shows your how many people saw the ad
What age and gender(s) were targeted
What interests were targeted
That’s not all:

How to use this:
Find your competitors ads:
It’s sneaky….. but which Amazon seller isn’t?
Look at what influencer your competitors are using…. then poach them (if they brought in sales for your competitor, then you will likely be featured in the “Frequently Bought Together” box).
CopyImprove on Big Retail companies’ contentMost big retailers will hire influencer sthrough Product Seeding….. meaning they send their products out in bulk and request content.
The pay for influencers is generally quite low.
So if your competitor is a big brand and you know they don’t pay their influencers enough….. then find those influencers through the ad library and offer them double (you could even pay them to remove that brand’s content….. that’s just mean 🤬…. but I will still do it)
Overall……
Take advantage of the TikTok Ads library…… tons of data that you can use to get ahead

The new CapCut Plugin on ChatGPT saves the day!

CapCut is THE video editing tool for TikTok. It was created by the TikTok company and it is FREE (need I say anything more 💰 ).
So let’s set the mood:
I want a TikTok video for a baby blanket on Amazon
That was my prompt…..

And here is the video:
To be honest…..
The video is terrible…. no videos, just images….
BUT
I spent all of 30 seconds creating this….. look at me working hard.
Which means…. it can only get better 👊.
Spend some time optimising the prompts…. ‘cos if Paul can do it, then you can do it better (reminds me of what my teachers used to say 😞)
This will get better within a few months….. no doubt it will be on Fiverr.

The power of a good influencer

Most Amazon Sellers underestimate TikTok traffic…..or else they would be on the platform already.
Over 71% of TikTok users will shop for a product after seeing it on TikTok

In the pic below:
We spent just over a hundred dollars
Got nearly 50,000 impressions (it was a reach ad, impressions was the goal)
That means.....
Nearly 50,000 targeted users saw the content......

Now imagine....
Running 10 more campaigns like this...... that's 500,000 views for $500.
But it is focused on your ideal customer.... not some teenager.....
Right now TikTok Ads cost a fraction compared to Amazon PPC....
It won't last for long though ⏳
