The goal of the case study was simple:

What happens when we ‘flood’ an Amazon listing with TikTok Traffic (paid ads)?

Spoiler Alert: IT WORKS 🚀 

No one is running TikTok Ads to their Amazon listings…..no one 😞.

I speak to dozens of agencies every week and it’s always the same:

We focus on Amazon PPC…. ‘cos we are the experts

Thinks every Amazon seller/agency - If we are all experts, then no one is an expert…….

And right now, TikTok is a Blue Ocean.

Our average TikTok Campaign has a CPC around $0.05 - $0.10…. our listings receive a few thousand clicks per day.

And external traffic will not decrease your sales…. if it did, we wouldn’t exist.

  • Sustainability is paramount for 75% of Gen Z consumers, often outweighing brand names when making purchasing decisions.

Our Influencer Outreach

You need to up your influencer game……

With the rise of influencers. it’s not about your sales…. it’s about the clout your brand brings. I.E. how many people are talking about your brand.

My team reaches out to 100 influencers per week per product and now we are going to increase it to a few thousand per week.

We are using these lists for TikTok Shop and TikTok-to-Amazon campaigns.

Brands can’t compete with us because:

  • When we launch we have at least 100 influencers ready to buy the product (we even aim for SFB + reviews…. very naughty 😈)

  • Each post generates organic traffic and then we boost it with TikTok Ads.

  • It looks like the brands are going viral….. but just a result of the TikTok ads

If you have a list of engaged influencers….. then you create the narrative 👊

You can use these influencers to boost your sales and even use them to create a ‘smear’ campaign against your competitors (it’s ugly…. but eCommerce is a war and we have the war scars to prove it).

A list of influencers that promote your brand is THE MOST VALUABLE ASSET in eCommerce and it will only increase…….

If you are not reaching out to influencers on a weekly basis, then your brand will go the same route as the Amazon Aggregators…. (you know what I mean 😞)

We have less than a month and the biggest shopping period of the year is upon us:

  • Nearly 70% of users are expected to make a Black Friday purchase.

  • Black Friday/Cyber Monday is the “#1 most shopped time by TikTok users”

  • 80% of users who bought something on Black Friday last year said TikTok played a role in their purchase decision.

We know TikTok is a massive for Black Friday & Cyber Monday (BFCM) and 99% of Amazon sellers do not have a TikTok strategy….. big mistake 😞
