How to target TikTok users that will actually spend money πŸ’°

If you had ever run Facebook Ads.... there was a metric you would have used: Engaged Shoppers

Facebook would target the users that are most likely to purchase.

TikTok just rolled out the equivalent: Purchase Intention

But what does it mean?

TikTok will target the users most likely to purchase.... but the audience will be smaller, meaning it will be more expensive than the normal ads.

Big shoutout to my TikTok Ads guru, Jaymie, for testing this out πŸ‘Š

So we put it to the test:

  • Created a few ads and ran them at $20 per day

  • Duplicated those ads and added the overlying interest "Purchase Intention"

Conclusion:

  • As audience are smaller.... TikTok Ads become more expensive (the smaller the audience the bigger the costs)

  • This is only worthwhile......

    • If you have the budget

    • if your product has a high cost

Overall....

Think about TikTok Ads like Amazon PPC a few years ago.... it's still very young and cheap.

It will get better with age but unfortunately, features like this are never going to be cheap 🀬

Get 30% more views on your content now....

Subtle, small strategies that crush it πŸ‘Š

This is how you do it:

  1. Go to the TikTok Creative Center

  2. Click on the most trending music (the more recent the better)

  3. Add this music to your TikTok content

A simple strategy explained in 20 seconds.... takes 2 min to implement...

In Meta’s recent report, Gizmodo discovered an interesting insight… TikTok accounts for 35.9M of the views in users’ feeds.

That makes TikTok links the most widely viewed links out of all websites in the US.

How to use this: 

  • If you want to increase broaden your brand's reach..... simply post your TikTok content on Facebook

  • Hell... run it as a Facebook ad πŸ˜‰

  • Do it before Facebook changes their algorithm and punishes advertisers for doing this

Emailing customers; Amazon's latest announcement....

So this is pretty big... Amazon has just announced that they are now offering email features to anyone that 'Follows' your brand on Amazon.

We knew this was going to happen and have been running TikTok campaigns focussed on increasing the follower count.

Don't believe me.....
