Brands' TikTok Game Weaker Than Dad Jokes

Brands are bombing on TikTok. New research shows 8 out of 10 videos from companies are total duds. They're not grabbing eyeballs or sparking feels.
Here's the deal: 84% of brand TikToks are falling flat. No attention, no positive vibes, no brand recall. It's a wasteland out there.
But wait, it gets worse. Almost a quarter of these videos are actually pissing people off. We're talking strong negative emotions that could torch your brand's rep.
The stats are brutal. Only 16% of branded TikToks are hitting above average on effectiveness. Most are just boring viewers to tears or confusing the hell out of them.
Bottom line: Brands are blowing it on TikTok. They're 9% less likely to spark joy and grabbing 2.5% less attention than average. Time to step up your game or get left in the digital dust.
Personally, I think this is a win….. TikTok is a platform where the best content equates to sales.
If your competition cannot make great content, they are wasting their time and money.
If you cannot create great content…. then you are in trouble.

YouTube's going for TikTok's throat in the e-commerce game. They're supercharging their Shopify partnership to flood their platform with thousands of new brands.
This is huge for creators. They're about to get access to a massive catalog of products to plug in their videos. Cha-ching! 💰
But here's the kicker: It's not just about the creators. YouTube's playing 4D chess against TikTok Shop, which is gunning for a mind-blowing $17.5 billion in U.S. sales this year.
