My TikTok Strategy Unveiled 🫥
Any darn fool can make something complex; it takes a genius to make something simple.
Whenever someone references a quote, they are trying to sound intelligent……. I am guilty of this as I am not very bright (just ask my wife 😞).
‘Cos the thing is…..
My launch strategy using TikTok is VERY easy… so easy that I feel the need to include a quote to make it sound smarter 😞.
I call it the “Brand Ambassador TikTok Launch” (the name needs some serious work….. if you think of a better name, send it my way and will make it worthwhile 👊).
Here it is:
1. Contact around 50 - 100 influencers per week
This is the hardest part, but all you need is a team of VA’s that will research and contact the influencers
I am using the term ‘influencers’ very loosely…. ideally target TikTok users that have around 10,000 followers or less (the smaller the influencer, the higher their engagement levels and the easier to work with).
Aim for influencers that are will to produce the content for a max of $100 (I am cheap 😞).
2. Get them to purchase the product on Amazon
Once they have responded, get them to purchase the product on Amazon.
You can always send the product to them but if they purchase it (the price is included in their content fee) then you get the sale on Amazon and that helps (if you want to be smart, get them to purchase via SFB, I tell them “Hey Hun, I lost the Amazon link and don’t want to tell my boss… search for the product using [BRAND NAME][KEYWORD]”).
3. Once they post their video, boost their content through TikTok Ads
That way you get the SOCIAL TRAFFIC (from the organic traffic from the post) and the PAID TRAFFIC (using TikTok Ads)
This is a Spark Ad, the most effective ad on TikTok (‘cos it doesn’t come across as an ad, just a friend recommending it)
If you have 10 influencers and boost their content for $20 each, that’s 100,000 impressions ie. 100,000 people see your brand on TikTok (based on $2 CPM)
4. Ask for a review (naughty 😈)
They purchased the product, so they can leave a review.
WARNING: This is against TOS….. but I still do it
5. Rinse & Repeat
Do this on a weekly basis and you will get:
Dozens of influencers purchasing your product (which become your Brand Ambassadors that you can reuse later… imagine hundreds of influencers promoting your brand)
Tons of content to boost on TikTok (TikTok is THE platform for product awareness).
PROBLEM with this strategy……
It is expensive because you are paying for the purchase, content and TikTok Ads.
BUT….
It works and currently, the more content you get the better your results becuase TikTok is a platform where quantity beats quality.
The more people that see your brand on TikTok, the increased search on Amazon.
In all the campaigns we run, the one common KPI is the Branded Search on Amazon, more content you have on TikTok…. the better the results (we increased the Search Frequency from 10,000 to 6,000 over 3 weeks as a result of TikTok ads….. their best sales period to date 👊).
This launch strategy is an overview….. but allows you to customise it for your brand because every brand performs differently on TikTok.
And here is the best part……
Once this is built out and running for a few weeks you will have dozens, if not hundreds of influencers, that you can use for TikTok Shop 🚀 .
So this launch strategy is a long term play that increases sales on Amazon and then launches your brand on TikTok Shop.
Attention converts to sales.

Just take a look at how focussed TikTok is on TikTok Shop.
TikTok knows what they are doing and they have hired the top ecommerce engineers, devs and team to make it happen.
A few years from now you will wonder why you didn’t start on TikTok Shop and I will be right there saying “Told you so!!!!”.

Instagram is Winning, but TikTok is close
98% of creators use Instagram feed posts, Instagram Stories, and Instagram Reels.
TikTok is close, as 89.6% of US creators will share sponsored video content on the platform this year.
Its algorithm has been a major draw for up-and-coming, video-first creators, as it allows them to build audiences more easily than on other channels like Instagram or YouTube.
How many Amazon brands are focussed on Instagram and TikTok? Few…. very few…. but that’s where the buyers are.
Use these platforms to push traffic to Amazon.
Ignore it and end up like most aggregators 😞
😲 NEWBIE SCORE
Launched on TikTok Shop, 7 sales in!!
Making sales on a new platform in only a few days….. WE CARE!
‘Cos here are the details:
This Amazon seller just launched on TikTok Shop
I tried to help, but due to time constraints (ie. Kids) I was unable to help them
They pushed ahead and tried everything:
Published 4 videos on TikTok Shop (these videos were not great… but perfection is the enemy of execution).
Boosted the video with TikTok Shop ads
Contacted over 30 influencers on the TikTok Shop platform.
THE RESULT?………. 7 SALES 🚀
They had a negative ROI ($300 spent on a product that costs $25).
But who cares…. within 3 days they proved that TikTok Shop works.
Do you remember your first sale on Amazon?
It felt great right?
Now you get to relive that feeling by using TikTok Shop.
What was very interesting…… not a single influencer replied and the only sales were from TikTok Shop Ads.
Which means…..
They still have tons of untapped opportunities on TikTok Shop (even their ads were not optimised).
TikTok Shop is the new kid on the block…. Your new best friend.
