There is a big problem when sending TikTok traffic to your Amazon brand
Customers do not give a sh*t about your brand.
They donāt care that you are a family run businessā¦ā¦ But are you? Does your family even know what you do (mine have no ideaā¦. most think I am a bumā¦ or maybe thatās my wardrobe š)?
They donāt care about the stress the brand has been throughā¦.. I am pointing at you Amazon Support š¤¬
They donāt trust your websiteā¦. Why would they? Itās not as polished as Amazon and they definitely donāt want to store their credit card info on itā¦
They DEFINITELY donāt trust your brandā¦. But they trust Amazon with everything.
Customers only care for 2 things:
Status - āHow will this make me better than everyone elseā
Will this product make me look better than everyone else?
Will this product save me money?
Will people admire me if I share my thoughts on this product?
Convenience - āI am lazyā¦..How much effort will this take?ā
āI hate waitingā¦. I want it now!ā Amazon serves up convenience in bucketloads solving this
āCredit card details, I donāt rememberā¦.ā Amazon does
This puts it into perspective:
Amazon Storefront is kinda like your website homepage
Stop trying to beat Amazon, ācos spoiler alertā¦. YOUā¦WILL...LOSE š
Embrace itā¦.. use Amazon to your advantageā¦

Look at the new buying behaviour of shoppers.
The TikTok generation are smart:
They will donāt like adsā¦.. but will search for it on Amazon as default (hence improving brand analytics)
TikTok users like a seamless shopping experienceā¦. most TikTok purchases are āspur of the momentā, so if there is friction, they wonāt buy (ALWAYS use deep links)
BUTā¦..
You are smarter than them š:
āCos you know there is a āFollowā button on your storefront
You can send marketing promotions and messages to your followersā¦. they love this as itās private deals only they receive (making them feel better than everyone else).
I have a client that has 20,000 Followers on their Storefrontā¦.. they sent an Amazon email to them about a promotionā¦. added an addition $15,000 in sales that day š
You only need one thing: An Optimised Amazon Storefront

TikTok traffic works for any Amazon brandā¦.
But if the user is interested in the product after seeing it on TikTok and but get turned off after seeing your listing/storefrontā¦.. you just lost a customer.
TikTok is THE platform for product discoveryā¦.. donāt you want to give them the best possible experience?
